“As a creative soul with a passion for photography and an addiction to paper I have been scrapbooking in some way or another long before I even knew the hobby existed. When I was finally introduced to it in a formal way I instantly knew I found a way to apply my formal art and design background. I was totally besotted by the hobby and just had to share my passion with everyone. In 2005 I opened a scrapbooking shop, Scraptifity, and one of my dreams came true. After three years of planning another scrapbooking dream was realized when my TV programme Fotostories was flighted by pay television’s KykNet and I could share my passion with the rest of South Africa. This book is a natural extension of both dreams and I do hope each and everyone will find inspiration in these layouts.” Retha is married with three children and lives in Randburg.
